You want to be a beekeeper, but you do not know where to start? We at The Honey offer a beekeeping course so that you have the finest and most delicious honey in the world from your own beehive. We will teach you not just to be a beekeeper, but to be a friend of the bees. We will choose the right kind of hive with you and we will be with you for at least a year or as long as you want, until you become a self-assured beekeeper.
When to start the beekeeping course?
The beekeeping course is best to start during the spring and summer months, but it is practically possible to start at any time of the year. The course is mostly practical, and the theoretical preparation can be done further. We recommend that the course should cover at least one full calendar year to familiarize yourself with all aspects of the development of a bee family. This means at least 6 to 12 practical lessons of our beehives in Sofia and Iskar Dam or your own beehive within the Sofia region. As everyone is special, the exact course parameters should be discussed.
There are individual and group trainings for up to 4 people in a group.
