Honey is rich in potassium, magnesium, sodium and antioxidants. It has anti-inflammatory and antiviral activity.
Ginger is also known for its anti-inflammatory action and for promoting digestion. It is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, iron and magnesium.
Lemons, in turn, abound in vitamin C and act antiseptically.
The combination of the three ingredients is a powerful force in the fight against viruses and colds, stimulates digestion and strengthens metabolism
Products for 750 ml:
- 120gr root ginger
- 2 items whole lemons
- 360gr honey
Lemons are washed with soap with hot water. They are cut into quarters and cleaned by handles and pips. Ginger is peeled and cut into pieces. Lemons and ginger are ground into a blender. Remove the ginger thread. Mix with honey and stir with a wooden spoon until it is completely melted.
Leave for 12 hours in cool and cold (possibly in a refrigerator) to absorb the honey and is ready for consumption.
Consumed 1 tsp. on an empty stomach. It is recommended not to be taken in the evening because it excites the nervous system and interferes with sleep.
For first symptoms of a cold, the dose is increased 3 times a day.
It is recommended to take it with a plastic or wooden spoon, not a metallic one, because the metal oxidizes the honey.
